Description

Costa Rica is probably the most biodiverse country in the world both outside and inside the ocean waters; tropical forest, volcanos and also mangroves, seagrass or coral reefs. We have been over a year working and starting projects with MINAE – Environmental Ministry of Costa Rica, working in the South of the Pacific Ocean Coastline and we have projects going from coral reef 3D Modelling; our named “CORALFAB”, but also invertebrates monitoring and the study of the climate change.

We have build a marine conservation program where you will not only learn theory and techniques of conservation diving but you will be part of our efforts to save the ocean while you dive among humpback whales, dolphins and the coral reef. Are you brave enough to join us in this adventure?

Innoceana has conservation diving projects in Costa Rica from mid 2018, a weather station, a water quality project, an invertebrates monitoring project or modelling coral reefs of the southern pacific coast are only some of the projects. if you join this expedition you will be trained in the mentioned projects and will learn a lot about vertebrates and invertebrates taxonomy.

We currently have just 5 places remaining for our Inno-Conservation Expedition!
