About Us

WiseOceans is a specialist Marine Education and Conservation company striving to spread awareness for our wonderful yet fragile oceans and the creatures that live within them.

We are a leading resource in marine conservation jobs, advice, news, events, marine education, information and recruiting marine educators.

WiseOceans Ltd provides a number of services and acts as a leading resource for marine conservation. The website is a place you can visit to learn about the marine environment, the creatures who live there, recent research and campaigns. We showcase internationally renowned scientists and their research. Along with this you can obtain advice about the best practices to follow when watching marine life or when deciding on an operator to use. We also provide education and conservation consultancy services, and educational talks and activities that you can incorporate into your school, club or society. There is an extensive marine conservation job page; a place to find marine related jobs, voluntary opportunities, courses, research expeditions and gain advice on how to get into this field of work. WiseOceans is developing all the time which means there’s plenty more to come…….

WiseOceans Ltd has a large involvement with Seychelles and works along side and in conjunction with specific local NGOs. Part of our mission is to spread marine awareness and knowledge among guests and staff at resorts within Seychelles. By working along side specific local NGOs enables us to conduct additional marine conservation projects by utilising funds generated by resorts. Therefore we maximise our marine conservation and education work within Seychelles.

“In the end, we will conserve only what we love, we will love only what we understand and we will understand only what we are taught”.  Baba Dioum, Senegalese Conservationist
